Homes Association Meetings

The annual meeting is held in January, typically on a evening at Hy-Vee. Additionally, quarterly meetings are held throughout the year. Watch for meeting announcements on the subdivision information board placed on the entrance island by 133rd and Benson.

Trash Service, Yard Waste & Recycling

Trash, yard waste removal and recycling is currently provided by WCA as part of your annual dues.

  • Pick-up is Thursday.
  • Recycling does NOT take glass.
  • Contact WCA for containers, and to purchase tags for extra bags of trash.

  • WCA now limits the amount of trash and recycling that each home can have each week. If you require more than will fit in the provided polycart you will need to purchase stickers ($1.25/bag). Stickers for additional trash bags may be purchased at the Customer Service Desk at Hen House, 135th and Metcalf.
  • Yard waste pick-up is available from April 1st - November 30th.
  • Yard waste includes leaves, grass clippings, branches, and general yard debris. Please don’t combine with wood fencing, landscape timbers, flower pots, yard decorations, mulch, or dirt.
  • Yard waste can only be collected in tied bags or bundles. Grass clippings and leafy debris should be placed at the curb in biodegradable trash bags, homeowner-provided containers.
  • Branches and limbs should be no longer than four (4) feet in length, and six (6) inches in diameter. All branches and limbs should be tied in bundles weighing less than 50 pounds, and bundles should be stacked uniformly at the curb.

Architectural Guidelines

The guidelines are found in the Declaration of Restrictions and the Amended Restrictions. Changes to your home exterior, not limited to additions, paint, roofing, fencing, windows, pools, and decks must be pre-approved using the Architectural Control Form.

What Do My Dues Pay For?

Stonegate is small community with a lot of common area that needs to be maintained. Dues pay for grounds maintenance, water, electricity, liability insurance, trash pick-up and more. Many subdivisions use a management company to manage their homes association which can be costly. Because we are self-governed by a board elected by the homeowners, we are able to keep our annual dues very reasonable.

2023 Dues: $355 - payable by March 31st, 2023
